Position Title: Technical Partner/System Engineer

Salary $135,000 -$184,926 / Year

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40 Hours/Week

Summary of Duties: Collect information on customer applications and competitors, identify potential business opportunities, and develop strategies to address these opportunities. Provide nationwide consulting of customers on new solutions concerning the assigned main topic, including the complete portfolio. Promote and discuss our portfolio and gather information for new solutions with our customers, with excellent presentation and communication skills. Provide sales with concrete business opportunities resulting from successful promotion activities. Gather information about markets, customers, and competitors with their corresponding products and solutions. Identify opportunities for the business segment relevant business volume. Adapt the solution portfolio to the customer’s needs and branch-specific requirements. Promote standards conventional protection and substation automation products direct from utilities or channels but leveraging futuristic technologies like digital substation technologies, electromagnetic pulse mitigation, and cloud-based IoT solutions. Up to 50% domestic travel required. Remote work permitted.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Power Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in an acceptable alternate occupation. The position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Core Protection and Automation experience in Commissioning, Business Development, and Projects with a solid endeavor to influence customers with technology; Direct customer service experience and experience building positive relationships; Ability to read electrical schematics to identify the best solutions considering Siemens products; Experience with standards, such as UL, IEEE, NEMA, IEC, NEC, and ANSI; Experience with the standard IEC 61850; Experience with network design and redundancy protocols, such as RSTP, PRP, and HSR. Up to 50% domestic travel required. Remote work permitted.
